The Tourism Implementation Strategy is organized into three planning cycles over a 10-year period: 2026–2028, 2029–2032, and 2033–2035. Each cycle is structured by Implementation Areas and Workstreams to show how different parts of the plan work together. Within each cycle, Outcomes describe the results expected from Activities, including when Activities will occur, which organizations will lead and support the work, and which local plans and studies align with each Outcome. Acronyms for organizations and plans are explained in two keys on this page, and the Tourism Master Plan Goals supported in each cycle and Implementation Area are listed.
This document is designed to help partners, City staff, and residents understand what Outcomes the TMP aims to achieve and how progress will be made over time. City staff will maintain operational work plans that translate these Outcomes into specific activities, coordinated with partners, and shared through the Communication Strategy. Outcomes across all cycles are intended to guide the direction of work and be refined through each planning cycle based on partner capacity, resources, and conditions
